We focus on preparation, clear communication, and organized crews so contractors and municipalities can depend on our work being completed correctly and on schedule. Our military background shapes how we operate—accountability, follow-through, and respect for the jobsite are expected on every project.

Our goal is simple: be a contractor partners trust to show up ready, coordinate effectively, and complete work the right way the first time.

Dalton Hanrahan is the founder and owner of High Precision Underground. He established the company with a focus on reliability, accountability, and consistent project execution, emphasizing safety, communication, and professionalism on every jobsite.

Dalton oversees operations, project planning, estimating, and field coordination while developing team leaders and scalable processes within the organization. His approach centers on building a disciplined company that contractors and partners can depend on to meet schedules and maintain quality standards.

In addition to operating the business, Dalton serves as a Staff Sergeant in the Iowa Army National Guard within an infantry reconnaissance platoon. His military leadership experience involves planning, risk management, and leading small teams in demanding environments where preparation and accountability are critical. That leadership background directly influences the expectations, organization, and dependability the company brings to its work.

Dalton is committed to developing skilled crews, maintaining strong relationships with contractors and municipalities, and continuing to grow High Precision Underground as a trusted infrastructure partner.

Shae is the dedicated Operations Manager at High Precision Underground, where her multifaceted role includes behind-the-scenes management, inventory control, and fostering effective communication with the team and external partners. She holds years of experience in sports leadership and management, including captain positions during high school, and is committed to her educational journey where she’s currently pursuing an Associates in Business at Black Hawk College.

Shae is deeply motivated by her passion for community involvement and inspiring others. Her dedication to community betterment and empowering individuals drives her to make a positive impact as she continually sets and achieves new goals.

Driven by a passion for delivering tangible results and effectively communicating a company’s values, Martha leads marketing strategy, digital marketing efforts, and graphic design initiatives for High Precision Underground. Backed by over five years of marketing experience, a Digital Marketing Professional certification from the Digital Marketing Institute, and a bachelors degree in Fine Arts from UW Stout, she is thrilled to help achieve High Precision Undergrounds goals. Beyond work, she enjoys outdoor activities like kayaking and running, along with savoring a good glass of red wine.
